Without proper software you will receive a Windows message "How do you want to open this file?" or "Windows cannot open this file" or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert. If you cannot open your MXM file correctly, try to right-click or long-press the file. Then click "Open with" and choose an application. You can also display a MXM file directly in the browser. All I can suggest is try a different browser or save the setup file to your desktop first, then right-click Properties and check Unblock, Apply and then try it again. Cannot download files flagged as insecure in Edge. I tried to download virtualbox in 21H1 using Edge and got message download was blocked as potentially unsafe. So I checked smartscreen settings in Windows sSecurity in case they had been turned on with update but they were off including settings for Edge.

Each time the MXM files appear to be OK, but we cannot load any of them into the Editor or FormZ. In the Editor I have tried various ways to open the file, e.g double clicking and also using 'open', the materials do not load. If you want to associate a file with a new program (e.g. bltadwin.ru) you have two ways to do it. The first and the easiest one is to right-click on the selected MXM file. From the drop-down menu select "Choose default program", then click "Browse" and find the desired program. The whole operation must be confirmed by clicking OK.
